Charity for the needy - Chabad-Lubavitch of the Shoreline

One of the four mitzvahs (commandments) of Purim day is matanos l'evyonim, to give charity to at least two needy fellow Jews. You can designate Rabbi Yossi Yaffe as your messenger by donating here, and he will give the funds on Purim day to needy Jews in our area and/or in Israel (you can choose one or both).

Please donate by 8 PM on Purim night (Thursday, Feb. 25) so that all funds can be distributed on Purim day. If you donate later, then Rabbi Yossi will send the funds to needy Jews in Jerusalem, where they celebrate an extra day of Purim (Shushan Purim, which occurs this year on Sunday, Feb. 28).
