Dear ≪First Name or Friend≫,
Will we see you for this monumental event? Every Jew should be there!
Join us on Sunday, June 5 for a re-living of the revelation at Sinai. Bring your friends and family to listen to the Ten Commandments just as they were said 3,334 years ago. Following the Torah reading will be the "manna," AKA dairy buffet and dessert bar.
You can also join us for other Shabbat & Shavuot events: prayer services, holiday dinners, all night learning and Yizkor services.
I would like to extend the traditional Chassidic blessing for Shavuot: May you receive the Torah in a joyous, sincere and transformative manner!
Our country is mourning the loss of young schoolchildren and teachers, cut down in a place that should be a sanctuary. We keenly feel the brokenness of our world.
And so we cry, we pray and then we channel our angst into concrete action to make the world a more loving, safer, and better place for us all.
Our sages say, "The Torah was given to bring peace to the world." We look forward to the coming of Moshiach, the time of ultimate peace, when G‑d tells us, "Death will be swallowed up forever, and I will wipe the tear off every face."
